SUN CHASERS
The sound of gathering clouds, sun dancing over rocks, over rugged desert terrain, and the beauty of another Southwestern, star filled night sky unfolds.

RIO SAN RAFAEL (bonus track)
Composed and initially scored as the audio counterpart to the video chapter which the song Rain Dancer now graces. However, with its fluid melody and liquid production, Rio San Rafael, remains as it began…water music.

DESERT STAR
The piano, Xiao flute, cello, and string bass, create this carefully balanced musical dialogue.  A slow, steady, and hypnotic, impressionistic march through the Red Rocks and beyond.

INVOCATION
The plaintive American Indian flute calls us to look high upon snowy mountain peaks. Preparing us for the dance, and the water spirits just ahead…

RAIN DANCER
Cascading arpeggios, rich cello textures, and a crystal clear evolving melody line, sings out to us on our journey. And the Rain Dancer leads the way.

SEA OF MESCALERO
Floating out of body over the endless sea of White Sands. Shocking blue skies overhead rendered all the more mysterious and foreboding with the minor themed interplay of piano and Xiao flute.

TEMPLE DANCE
Carried away into the heart of the desert. A dance in three quarter time. The sound of wind and solo piano, joined by cello and violin, lifts us as we run and nearly begin to fly above ground.

ANCIENT VOICES
The call of Raven, the dusty timbre of Anasazi flute, the insistent drums, pulsing, and, pulling us into the ruins of a village where we sense the spirit of the old one's sacred rituals, perceived in shadows, spoken in whispers, by Ancient Voices.

WALK IN BEAUTY
The trickling of notes from the piano coaxes the light as it slowly spills out onto the floor of a slot canyon. The gentle cry of the elk flute, and the heartbeat of the frame drum, accompanies us as “we walk in beauty". Here in this hallowed space, carved out of the Earth by time, wind and water, we ask the question ... "what is a sacred place?”

LIVING TEMPLES
Simple open chords cycling over and again. The piano’s austere melody echoed by the ever-haunting Xiao, punctuated by string bass, yet still room enough for the hot, dry, desert wind to sing its own song.
